Universal Studios is set to launch new experiences at its domestic theme parks that will transport guests into the enchanting world of “Wicked.” These experiences, inspired by Universal Pictures’ “Wicked” movie release on Nov. 22, will debut at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort in late October.
At Universal Orlando, “Wicked: The Experience” will take over the space previously occupied by the UNIVRS store near the entrance of Universal Studios Florida. Guests can expect to explore re-created locations from “Wicked,” such as Shiz University and the Emerald City, along with authentic props and costumes from the film.
In Universal Studios Hollywood, both the Feature Presentation store within the park and the UNIVRS store at Universal CityWalk Hollywood will undergo a magical transformation into “Wicked” experiences. These immersive spaces will showcase iconic props, costumes, and even offer a special photo opportunity for fans. Additionally, the Universal Cinema at CityWalk will feature a display of costumes once the movie premieres.
To enhance the experience, both Universal Studios locations in California and Florida will introduce specialty dining items inspired by “Wicked.” Park attendees can indulge in these themed treats at Voodoo Doughnuts and the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, located in CityWalk.
