The New and Improved Marina: Oceania Cruises’ Latest Updates

Oceania Cruises’ Marina has recently re-entered service after a comprehensive refurbishment. One of the notable additions to the ship is Aquamar Kitchen, a wellness-focused dining venue that was first introduced on the Vista last year. This new establishment is open for breakfast and lunch, offering a complimentary dining experience to all guests. In addition to Aquamar Kitchen, the Marina now boasts a poolside ice cream parlor and an outdoor pizzeria. The pizzeria, located at Waves Grill in the evenings, serves a variety of Italian specialties, salads, and even a Nutella pizza for dessert. The ice cream parlor on the pool deck features flavors from artisan company Humphry Slocombe, as well as milkshakes and smoothies.

The Marina has made significant upgrades to its 124 Penthouse Suites. Guests staying in these suites can now enjoy a completely re-imagined space with new furniture, closets, and cabinetry to maximize storage capacity. The suites also feature new carpets, upholstery, modern lighting, and additional outlets and USB ports. Each Penthouse Suite boasts a redesigned bathroom with Italian marble, ample drawer space, and oversized showers for added comfort and luxury.

In addition to the enhancements in the Penthouse Suites, Oceania Cruises has also revitalized the public spaces on the Marina. Areas such as Martinis, Horizons, the main dining room, and the library have been updated with new plush carpets and refreshed upholstery. The specialty steakhouse, Polo Grill, has received new carpeting, window treatments, and pillowed-leather dining chairs. With the addition of Aquamar Kitchen, the signature pairing dinners previously featured in La Reserve will now be presented in Privée, the exclusive private dining venue on the Marina.

The Marina holds a special place in Oceania Cruises’ history as its first newbuild ship, entering service in January 2011. Its success paved the way for the introduction of its sister ship, the Riviera, in 2012. With its latest updates and additions, the Marina continues to provide guests with a sophisticated and enjoyable cruising experience, combining elegance with modern amenities for a truly luxurious voyage.
