Brightline and Princess Cruises Team Up for a Seamless Travel Experience

Princess Cruises has announced a new partnership with Brightline intercity passenger rail to provide travelers with a unique “Rail and Sail” program that will make getting to their cruise even easier. This innovative program will allow guests cruising from Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral to seamlessly transition from train to ship, all while enjoying the iconic Love Boat branding on the train cars.

As part of this partnership, guests booking Rail and Sail packages through Brightline’s website will receive a discount of up to 15%. Additionally, those who book a Princess cruise by a certain date will be eligible for a credit towards Brightline’s Smart and Premium services, depending on the type of stateroom they choose. This incentive adds an extra layer of convenience and savings for travelers looking to make the most of their journey.

Brightline operates daily with multiple roundtrip transits between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, stopping in key locations such as West Palm Beach and Boca Raton along the way. This allows South Florida residents to easily access the rail services from various terminals, including downtown Miami and Aventura. The convenience of the Brightline rail service makes it an attractive option for travelers looking for a stress-free way to reach their cruise ship.

To further enhance the travel experience, Brightline will provide complimentary motorcoach service between the station and the embarkation terminal. Additionally, guests have the option to have their luggage delivered directly to their stateroom for a fee, saving them the hassle of lugging bags around. The introduction of luggage express services will add an extra layer of convenience, particularly for travelers who value a streamlined and efficient journey.

As the partnership between Brightline and Princess Cruises continues to grow, there are plans to expand the luggage express services to additional train routes, ultimately catering to a wider range of travelers. With the Caribbean Princess set to arrive and homeport at Port Canaveral in November, this collaboration presents exciting opportunities for travelers looking to embark on a memorable cruise experience.
