Jet Hospitality Expands into Wyoming with Two New Acquisitions

Jet Hospitality, known for its expertise in outdoor hospitality, has recently made a significant move into Wyoming by acquiring two iconic properties in the state. The Virginian Hotel in Medicine Bow and the Park Motel in Powell are set to undergo extensive renovations to bring new life and energy into these historic landmarks.

The Virginian Hotel, a well-known Wyoming landmark with a century-old history, is slated to be transformed into a unique “museum-style destination concept.” The property will feature updated food and beverage options, including a café, supper club, and fine-dining restaurant. Jet Hospitality has ambitious plans for this property, aiming to preserve its rich heritage while introducing new elements to enhance the guest experience.

One of the standout features of the Virginian Hotel is its Shiloh Saloon, considered one of the oldest bars in the state. Jet Hospitality has made a commitment to preserving this historic space, ensuring that its legacy continues to be a focal point for visitors. By combining elements of the past with modern amenities, Jet Hospitality aims to create a seamless blend of nostalgia and sophistication at the Virginian Hotel.

In addition to the Virginian Hotel, Jet Hospitality’s acquisition of the Park Motel in Powell marks the launch of their new Jet Motor Inn brand. This property is scheduled for a complete revamp, with a grand reopening planned for the summer. The Jet Motor Inn brand is described as a “retro fab, roadside-boutique hotel brand,” aimed at capturing the essence of vintage charm while providing modern comforts to guests.

Jet Hospitality intends to expand the Jet Motor Inn brand along historic routes such as the Lincoln Highway, as well as in interstate markets along the I-80 corridor. By strategically selecting locations with historical significance, Jet Hospitality seeks to offer guests a unique and immersive experience that celebrates the legacy of these iconic routes. The fusion of history and hospitality is at the core of Jet Hospitality’s vision for the future of outdoor lodging.

Jet Hospitality’s recent expansion into Wyoming signifies a bold step towards reimagining the hospitality landscape in the state. By investing in iconic properties and introducing innovative concepts, Jet Hospitality is not only preserving history but also creating new opportunities for travelers to explore and enjoy. The blending of heritage and modernity is at the heart of Jet Hospitality’s approach, promising an exciting future for outdoor hospitality in Wyoming.
