Spirit Airlines to Introduce New Fare Bundles for Enhanced Passenger Experience

Spirit Airlines is set to unveil new fare bundles in an effort to cater to a wider range of travelers. The decision to introduce these new options comes after careful consideration of passenger feedback and demands. By offering a variety of choices, Spirit aims to provide an elevated experience that is both affordable and high in value.

These new fare bundles will be available for purchase starting on August 16th, with flights set to commence on August 27th. The first option, called ‘Go’, provides passengers with a basic package that includes a personal item fitting below the seat. However, customers will need to pay extra for services such as checked bags, seat selection, WiFi, snacks, and drinks. Notably, the ‘Go’ bundle will not allow for carry-on baggage, even for a fee.

Moving up the scale, Spirit will introduce the ‘Go Savvy’ bundle, which allows passengers to select between a carry-on or checked bag. Standard seat assignments will be provided at no additional cost, while snacks, drinks, and WiFi will need to be purchased separately. This option closely mirrors the airline’s current Economy Bundle. Additionally, the ‘Go Comfy’ bundle will include seat selection, a blocked middle seat, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, non-alcoholic beverages, a snack, and early boarding in Group 2.

For travelers looking for a more luxurious experience, the ‘Go Big’ bundle offers seating in the spacious Big Front Seat at the front of the cabin. This top-tier bundle includes WiFi, priority boarding in Group 1, and all the amenities provided in the ‘Go Comfy’ package. While resembling Spirit’s existing Big Front Seat Bundle, ‘Go Big’ comes with added benefits such as complimentary food and beverages, as well as a checked bag.

Enhancements to Airport Experience

In addition to these new fare bundles, Spirit Airlines will introduce designated priority check-in lanes at over 20 airports starting from August 27th. These lanes will be accessible to passengers with the ‘Go Big’ bundle, Gold-level members of the Free Spirit loyalty program, and holders of the Free Spirit World Elite Mastercard. This move is aimed at further enhancing the overall passenger experience and providing additional perks for loyal customers.

Spirit Airlines’ new fare bundles are designed to cater to a diverse range of travelers while offering enhanced comfort, convenience, and value. By listening to passenger feedback and adjusting their offerings accordingly, the airline is making strides toward providing a more personalized and satisfying travel experience for all passengers.
