The Exciting Refurbishment of Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas in 2025

In an effort to enhance the guest experience, Royal Caribbean has announced a $100 million renovation project for the Allure of the Seas. Originally scheduled for completion in 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic, the refurbishment will now take place in 2025. The ship will re-enter service in April with a host of new features and amenities for passengers to enjoy.

One of the highlights of the refurbishment is the addition of the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, which will be making its way to the Allure from the new Utopia of the Seas. Featuring virtual windows with stunning beach views and an animatronic parrot, this unique bar is sure to be a hit with guests. Additionally, the Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, currently on the Wonder of the Seas and the Utopia, will also be added to the Allure.

The Allure will have a reimagined pool deck with resort-style pools, a wider variety of seating options, and more shade. Guests can look forward to relaxing in casitas, in-pool loungers, and daybeds, creating the ultimate poolside experience. The Perfect Storm waterslides, including the Cyclone and Typhoon racing slides and the SuperCell bowl slide, will also be added to the ship. In addition, the Ultimate Abyss dry slide will provide an exhilarating experience for thrill-seekers.

The refurbishment will introduce new elements to the Solarium, including the Samba Grill. The Social298 teen space will offer a variety of amenities, including video games, music, movies, and relaxation areas. Guests can also look forward to the new Ultimate Panoramic Suites located above the ship’s bridge, providing stunning 200-degree ocean views.

The Allure refurbishment project is part of Royal Caribbean’s ongoing Royal Amplified program, which aims to update and enhance its fleet of ships. Introduced in 2018, this program has brought exciting new features and amenities to the cruise line’s vessels. The Allure of the Seas initially debuted in December 2010 as Royal Caribbean’s second Oasis-class ship.

The refurbishment of the Allure of the Seas in 2025 promises to be an exciting and innovative project that will elevate the guest experience to new heights. With a host of new features, amenities, and entertainment spaces, guests can look forward to a truly unforgettable cruise experience aboard this iconic ship.
