The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is currently in the process of a $100 million enhancement project, set to be completed in fall 2025. The highlight of this project is the addition of a 161-unit oceanfront tower facing Palm Beach. This new tower will feature 18 oceanfront suites across seven room and suite categories, offering an elevated hotel-within-a-hotel experience. The design of the tower incorporates midcentury-modern elements and includes amenities such as swim-up pools and an exclusive adults-only rooftop club.
In addition to the new tower, the existing guestrooms and suites in the Bonaire and Curacao towers are also receiving a refresh. The work on the Bonaire Tower is expected to be completed by early September, with the Curacao Tower following suit by early December. The Aruba Tower has already undergone refurbishment for both guestrooms and the lobby. However, during the construction period, certain parts of the resort will be closed off to guests, including the south pool from the bridge to the Curacao Tower and specific rooms with direct access to the construction area.
As part of the enhancement project, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is introducing new dining concepts over the next two years. The Laguna breakfast restaurant now also serves dinner, and Gilligan’s is set to reopen as Shore Club in the middle of next year. During the construction of the new restaurant, Miramar Garden will be open for lunch and beach bites, offering a variety of food and drink options. Additionally, the former outdoor bar and lounge, Mira Solo, has been redesigned and is now called Sunset Bar. Sunset Grille, the resort’s fine dining restaurant, will unveil a revamped design upon reopening in the fall.
Despite the ongoing renovations, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino remains open, with general manager Lawrence Tuck assuring guests that they can expect the same level of service and hospitality that the resort is known for. Currently, the resort offers 358 guestrooms and suites, five dining options, a spa with amenities like cold plunge pools and a spa garden, and 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
