Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Expands All-Inclusive Presence Through Decameron Partnership

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has recently announced a strategic partnership with Decameron Hotels & Resorts, based in Colombia, to enhance its all-inclusive offerings. Through this collaboration, Wyndham has integrated nine midscale resorts into its all-inclusive portfolio, showcasing a significant expansion in this segment. Notably, four of these properties have been incorporated under Wyndham’s Ramada brand, signaling the brand’s entry into the all-inclusive market.

Among the newly added resorts, three Ramada properties are situated in Guayabitos on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit, including Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos, Decameron La Marina Guayabitos, and Decameron Isla Coral Guayabitos. Another notable addition is the Decameron Club Caribbean in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. Additionally, five other properties, initially under the Royal Decameron brand, have been rebranded as Grand Decameron resorts and are now part of Wyndham’s Trademark Collection, spanning destinations such as Mexico, Panama, and Jamaica.

According to Jimena Faena, Wyndham’s vice president of marketing and brand operations for Latin America, the rates for the newly integrated resorts are competitive, starting at approximately $150 per night for Ramada all-inclusives and $250 per night for Grand Decameron/Trademark Collection properties. Faena emphasized Wyndham’s commitment to offering affordable all-inclusive options to a wide range of travelers, regardless of their budget preferences, reflecting the brand’s dedication to delivering exceptional vacation experiences across various market segments.

The collaboration with Decameron represents a pivotal move for both Wyndham and Decameron in expanding their global presence and diversifying their offerings. With Decameron’s strong appeal to Latin American clientele, this partnership enables Wyndham to tap into a new market segment and broaden its reach across the region. Additionally, this venture bolsters Wyndham’s all-inclusive portfolio to a total of 60 properties, complementing the brand’s existing ventures such as Wyndham Alltra and the recent partnership with Palladium Hotel Group.

Continued Expansion and Innovation

Wyndham’s alliance with Decameron underscores the brand’s commitment to innovation and growth in the all-inclusive segment. By introducing new properties and enhancing its portfolio, Wyndham aims to cater to a diverse range of travelers and elevate the overall guest experience. As the company continues to explore strategic partnerships and expand its offerings, such as the recent opening of Wyndham Grand Barbados and Sam Lord’s Castle Resort & Spa, Wyndham is poised for continued success and evolution in the competitive hospitality industry.
